What you need to know about SmartScreen, antivirus software and hardware requirements.

Unsigned applications

The archives offered for download carry no code signature: the certificate has not been purchased yet. Windows therefore reports an “unknown publisher”, and that warning will not fade over time. The check that matters is the sha256 checksum shown next to the link: compare it against the file you received before running it.

SmartScreen warning

If "Windows protected your PC" shows up: More info → Run anyway. The warning comes from a file without reputation yet; you can verify the file against the sha256 checksum on the download page.

Antivirus false positive

An unknown executable, a brand-new domain and an outgoing connection: the classic Defender false positive. Only download from this site and compare the sha256 checksum.

Graphics requirement

The applications require Vulkan (Forward+) with no fallback path. Graphics cards from recent years work with up-to-date drivers.

Operating system

Only Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) are supported. There is no macOS or Linux build.
